UPDATE FROM TANZANIA Update from Gary Blumenthal who is currently serving on his 10th mission trip to Tanzania … Gary reports they have made great progress. They have two-thirds of three single unit homes completed for the lepers. In addition, they are half-way finished with the duplex units they are building for the teachers and lepers. The pump house for the new well at Iambi Lutheran Hospital is half completed. Trenches will be dug to take water to the Leper Complex and also to the Nkungi Elementary School next door. Don Etzel, Stan Earnshaw and Ellen Dahle leave March 2nd to join Gary and will help install a new pump and motor for the clean water supply.
