Ranch Revival Recap

Wow, it’s already been about a month since our Ranch Revival “Cowboy Church”, held on Sunday, September 8. It was such a blessing to work together with MANY of you, with Community of Faith Church, and with Adult and Teen Challenge, at this special worship event. We had an amazing turnout with approximately 300 people attending and a celebration of baptisms of 6 people as well!

Special outreach events like this, center us on our mission to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). Some of the men from Adult and Teen Challenge had only been in the drug and alcohol recovery program for a few days, and the Lord touched their hearts to receive Jesus and to be baptized that day! Praise God!

Our morning worship turned into an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship for all ages. A big thank you, once again to Dave and Kellie Grill for hosting this amazing day on their ranch. Thank you also to all who helped with this event. Let’s keep reaching out in creative ways to the let the world know of Jesus’ love.
