Journey is the high school youth program at Community of Hope. Our goal is to help high schoolers on the journey through navigating school, friendships, and a relationship with Christ as they transition from school to the real world. During the school year (September through May) we meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for Faith Walk, our Sunday school class. We have studied the Battle Plan for Prayer, Missions Month, and the Armor of God. During the school year, on Sunday evenings we get together with the middle schoolers for a fun time in the Bible, playing games, and eating dinner. It is our goal to make disciples wherever we go.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
**Stay tuned for the Summer 2017 Schedule!**
Our high schoolers also have an amazing opportunity to go on a mission trip this summer to the Dominican Republic. They will be gone July 14-22nd doing a Vacation Bible School with a local church in the city of Santiago. The theme of the camp is Superheroes of the Bible. We are excited to step out and trust the Lord on this adventure.
