Join us on Wednesday nights this fall, beginning Sept. 15, for a family night which will include dinner from 5:30-6:15 pm, an episode of “The Chosen” will be viewed, starting at 6:15 pm, followed by Bible study and discussion. Our evening will close at 7:30 pm. Childcare and youth discussion time will be included during this time, too!
You may be wondering, what is “The Chosen?” It is a television drama based on the life of Jesus. This series has been viewed by millions throughout the world. The series portrays Jesus, “through the eyes of those who met him.” You can download “the Chosen” app on your phone to view episodes as well.
On Wednesday nights we will also have added commentary on this series from Community of Hope’s Darren Jacobs, a screenwriter, who knows many of the cast of “The Chosen.” Darren brings a great perspective on the Christian film industry and how this media is communicating the gospel to people around the world.
