Location

This event will be held on the property of CoH members Dave and Kellie Grill (26801 SW Stafford Rd) which is ¼ mile north on Stafford Road from church. It is the same location as Yesteryear Farm.

Saturday, August 12 at 6 pm

The doors open to this event at 6 pm with food available, special activities and music. At 7 pm, the main event will begin with music from Carrie Cunningham, and then speaker Alpha Hayward will present the gospel message, followed up by prayer and more music.

Sunday, August 13 at 10 am

Come to the ranch for worship service at 10 am followed by baptisms in the hot tub. Church member Dave Grill will give an encouraging message. There will also be some kids activities. There will be a light breakfast at 9 am at the ranch before Cowboy Church.

About Carrie Cunningham

Carrie Cunningham didn’t realize that her faith and the love of music would be what shaped her, growing up in a small town in Nebraska. As a child, she lived in a hostile environment, but one place where she could find solace was on Sunday mornings listening to Pastor Calista Olds.  She remembers how she most of the positive memories as an adolescent revolved around church. From being a candle lighter, and wanting to join the choir, to sitting in the pew and listening to her favorite person, Pastor Calista Olds.

When her family moved to the NW, being part of a church became a thing of the past, but she still felt the calling to pray and be close to God.  As a young adult, Carrie found herself wanting to attend church again and also fell in love with southern gospel hymns.

Throughout her life she always used singing as a way to escape and she believes that God gave her a voice for a reason.  She knows how music and prayer helped save her and she soon found out how her music has saved others as well.

Carrie started singing in choir after her 6th grade teacher noticed she was being bullied at school and needed to find a new way to make friends.  From there she went on to sing in many competitions all the way through college, where she soon after not only joined bands, but also sang in the Spokane Symphony chorale.

She has gone on to release multiple cd’s and singles including her next single, “Just Like” on August 25.  She is also heavily involved in creating a full-length religious album where she is plans to turn into a theatrical production. She currently attends Nashville Life led by Pastor Alvin Love Sr, Cece Winans and Pastor Alvin Love Jr.

About Alpha Hayward

Pastor Alpha Hayward is the founding and senior pastor of Revolution Church in SE Portland. He is also a long time partner evangelist with the GNE with the Luis Palau Association. He has been a youth pastor for 10 years, a senior pastor for 15 years, and a partner evangelist with the Global Network of Evangelists (GNE)since 2007.

Alpha grew up in SE Portland in what is called “felony flats” where the substance abuse, crime rate, and gang violence have been prevalent. Alpha knew the call of God to be an evangelist since he was 12 years old. Alpha is a preacher of the Word of God and has a heart to see lost souls be saved, the church in unity, and people delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit.

As a local pastor, evangelist, and missionary, Alpha and his wife of 26 years, Monica, have been in pursuit of reaching anyone who needs the salvation, healing, and deliverance that comes from Jesus Christ.

Alpha is also a small business owner of Alpha’s Auto Detail and serves as a bi-vocational minister. He is a family man with 3 adult daughters and two teenage boys they recently took in their home and are fostering. When Alpha is not busy with ministry, work, or family, he is out on his boat catching as many salmon, trout, and steelhead as he can!
