ADULT MINISTRIES

It is our goal at Community of Hope to provide a place to connect with other believers while connecting with God.  We have many varied and dynamic opportunities for adults to come together and connect.  If you are looking to connect with a group in Fellowship and would like to get involved with adult ministry or get more information, we hope you visit our pages about Community Groups, Worship Volunteers, and Choir.

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42

Community Groups

We have various community groups that you can get involved with at Community of Hope. They are weekly and bi-monthly gatherings of adults who become friends, support and pray for one another, and go out into the community to perform works of service. Our community groups follow the same model of our mission statement: Know, Grow, and Go. These groups strive to know the Lord better, grow in fellowship and community through getting to know one another in the group, and then they go out and share the joy, strength, and love of the Lord with community.

Care Group

This group meets weekly to pray for and support one another through caregiver work and grieving processes.

Prayer Ministry

Our prayer ministers meet multiple times a week.  This ministry is led by Dottie Cook.  During the midweek prayer meeting, dinner and fellowship is shared.  Then, the group prays corporately, praising God and lifting up the needs of the congregation and community.  The group also prays in small groups for individual needs.

Come up front for prayer support after the 8:45 am or 11:00 am worship services from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Come up front to receive prayer after the 10:00 am worship service during the summer months.

There is also a Prayer Chain that operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.  The prayer are kept in confidence and can be instigated with a call or email to the church.
